I know that the Boatright & Stantons were closely connected in the past---even back into the Alabama area. I am researching William Stanton---who I THINK is the son of Allen Stanton & Susan Lyles. But, I can't find any proof of this. Or the connection between Ruthie Ann Stanton & Allen Stanton & Susie Stanton which is listed on some of Ruthie's Choctaw papers. If I could prove that Ruthie Ann & William are brother & Sister--then I would know that Allen Stanton & Susie Lyles is both of their parents. If you have any papers which show Ruthie Ann & William (b. ca.1847) are brother & sister please contact me.
