On March 15, 1916, Eileen entered this life as the youngest of 14 children born to Clarence and Hattie Milner of Colorado. She will be fondly remembered for her great love of music and her ever-present sense of humor. Her two daughters and their families meant the world to her. They are Peggy (husband Marshall) and Barbara (husband Frank). Eileen felt blessed to have two grandchildren, Tina and Mark, and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Isabel. Her husband of 61 years, John Boatright, went heavenward in August 1998. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to the personal care providers at The Lexington in Ventura. We feel they were partners with us, making Eileen feel comfortable and secure. Per her request, there will be no formal memorial service for Eileen. The family would suggest that a donation to the charity of your choice be made in Eileen's name, in lieu of flowers.
