I have found lots of info on Johm in Ga., census of several years, land lotteries, etc., but hardley nothing in South Carolina. I do have wife's name, etc. She was born Jane Oliver, born abt 1793-1800, in Abbeville, SC, married 1828 to John in Sc, died Washington Cty, Ga. 186?. Her parnets were James Oliver and Mary ? from Abbeville, SC. Jane was 1 of 11 children. Her grandparents were Samuel Oliver and Elizabeth ? in the Abbeville, SC area abt 1750.
