Dot, I think we have E-mailed in the past, you live in Ga.? I live in Florida. I have found lots of info of John in Ga., census of several years, land grants, etc., but nothing in South Carolina. I do have his wife's name. She is Jane Oliver born abt 1793 - 1800, in Abbeville, SC, married 1828 to John in SC, died Washington Cty, Ga. 186? Her parents were James Oliver and Mary? from Abbeville, Ga. She was one of 11 children. Her grandparents were Samuel Oliver and Elizabeth? in the Abbeville, SC area abt 1750.
