My maternal great grandfather, Thomas Boatwright, born about 1832 in Marion County SC, married Louisa Wiggins (daughter of Daniel Wiggins, born 1804, and Drucillia Phillips) in 1857 in Marion County and Thomas Boatwright was was killed in the Civil War at Trevillion Station in 11 Jun 1864.Thomas Boatwright had three children: Lavinia, Thomas and Julia Boatwright; Julia was born abouot 1864, in Georgetown, SC, which is north of Charleston. Lavinia married Philip A. Thomas, also from SC; both are buried in the Wiggins Burying Ground. Any connection? Fran in ABQ

That is really nice. Now please find something on John T. Boatright who married Maud Bethel in Trinidad, Colorado in June, 1887. That would also be nice. There's a John Boatright in the 1900 census for Weld County, Colorado, I don't know if that's mine or not.
