The 1810 census Cumberland Co VA lists a Jesse (45 or over) in Cumberland Co Va with wife (45 or over) sons: 1 btw 10-15 and 3 btw 16-19 yrs of age dau: 1 btw 10-15, 1 btw 16-19 & 1 btw 20-24 12 slaves The 1820 census Cumberland Co VA lists a Jesse (45 or over and wife 45 or over sons: 1 btw 26-44 no daughters (note 1 male and 1 female over 45 years of age also living in the household) 1830,1840 and 1850 no Jesse shown in any of VA census. 1820 census Fluvanna Co Va (Just North across the James River from Cumberland) lists a Laughorn Boatwright (26-44 yrs) wife 45 or over sons: 4 under age 10 dau 3 btw 10-15 yrs of age 1830, 1840 and 1850 Va census do not show a Laughorn Separate from above I have the following but cannot identify the source.
