I have figured out that sometimes names are spelled the way they sound, and not the correct way. My Leroy Boatrite is a cousin to my Dad, Thomas Uriah Thornton, son of Hattie Jane Gore and ? Beachard (Thornton is step-father). This Leroy is in FL about 1926 or so, do you know of any Boatrights that may have been in FL around this time?
