I am a direct descendant of Martin and Patience Steadman Boatwright. I can relay a lot of data on each and all lines from them on and some backwards.Martin's som William Boatwright was born in 1807 and did marry Ddempsey Barton [Dau. of Richard Barton and Hannah Steadman] who was born abt. 1810 per Lexington Co.census data and geneaology reports. They had 3 children known Uriah Martin,Azariah J. and Elizabeth Frances.The third sister of Patience who was Sarah married James Warren. Patience's father George Steadman,Sr. was married 4 times and the bulk of his children were by his 3rd wife Priscilla Johnson[ there were 5 ] he had 2 children by his 2nd wife Mary Barton,who was the older sister of the Richard Barton who married Hannah Steadman.
