Boatwright b. Nov. 1849 in Georgia m. arnd 1870, Isabelle Edwards b. 1859 in N. Carolina. Isabelle and John H. Boatwright are enumerated in the 1880 census in Waccamaw, Columbus Co, N.C. In the household are 1) Minnie Boatwright, a 1 year old girl whose relationship is noted as "other"; 2) Mary Jane Edwards, 18 yrs old, she is Isabelle's sister; 3) Charlie P. Edwards, 10 yrs old, he is Isabelle's brother. In 1900, I find the John H. and Isabelle R. Boatwright family living in Glynn Co., GA; in this record they have 3 children and the census indicates that Isabelle had 8 children and only 3 were living. The children are named: Francis H.; John W. and Maggie L. Boatwright. Also still living within the Boatwright household is Charlie Edwards, Isabelle's young brother. Nearby in Sterling, Glynn Co., GA are the Isham N. and Mary Jane (Edwards) family. We know that Mary Jane Edwards and Isham Gay were married in 1872 in Waccamaw, NC. The Gay family is still living in and around the Glynn County area of Ga. I cannot locate any further records on the Boatwright family. Can you help me??
