L- Boatright, The history is as follows: * Two brothers came to Virginia in the 1600 from England - they decided to uniquely identify their individual family lines; therefore, one brother agreed to drop the "W" from his name. All Boatright and Boatwright are related and come together under the Name Boatwright (builder of Boats/ships) when you go back to England from Virginia.
