Can someone tell me if this is the same Isaac S. BOATRIGHT who married Virginia MOORE January 16, 1880??? Did Lizzie HALL possibly die and he remarried Virginia MOORE? Information on John Clayborn Boatright b. 5 Dec 1849, d. 5 Mar 1919. Father and Mother were Benjamin Boatright ca1813?-____ and Mary Evans ca 1816-ca 1854. Benjamin was married twice. 2nd wife was Martha, (maiden name unknown) Benjamin & Mary had seven children: Stephen T. Boatright b. 13 Nov 1835 ( all information I have) Martha Frances Boatright b. 2 Apr 1837 (all information I have) Mary Jane Boatright b. 2 Jan 1842. location unknown. d. about 1877 at Nashville, Washington County, Illinois. She married Pleasant John Holley Jr. (ca 1834-ca 1908) date an location unknown. Joseph Warren Boatright b. 5 Jun 1845 (all information I have) Francis Marion Boatright b. 8 Oct 1846 . He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Berry (1860-1937) in 1875. JOHN CLAYBORN BOATRIGHT b. 5 Dec 1849 IN CLINTON COUNTY, IL. d. 5 MAR 1919 AT SCIPIO, FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO. HE MARRIED SUSAN DUNWOODY (ca 1852-1934) IN ABOUT 1874 AT BUNKERHILL, OHIO. William Henry Boatright, b. 18 Apr 1853. d. 14 Oct 1931 at Carlyle, Clinton County, Il. My grandfather, William Edward Marler was their fourth child. Her father was Thomas Boatright. Would like to know who her mother was and if she had any siblings. Also when and where she was born and anything else you may have. She died between 1889 (when my grandpa was born) and 1900(because she was not in the 1900 census with Jacob and he was listed as "W"). He was pre-deceased by his wife, Verna, son Alfred and daughter, Mavis. Survivors include daughter-in-law, Vina of Romulus, grandsons, Rick (Shelley) Boatright of Redford, Rex (Jennifer) Boatright of Romulus, granddaughter, Kathy (Roger) Burcroff of Canton, great granddaughters, Sabrina and Kelly Burcroff and Allison and Grace Boatright, great grandsons, Derek Boatright and Jack Burcroff, several nieces and nephews. Goos morning all, I know there has got to be someone out there who can help me. I would like to know if it is plausible that Daniel and Jane MARTIN BOATWRIGHT could have had two other children--Reuben and Daniel, even though I have never seen any reference to this. I believe that Reuben BOATWRIGHT, SR. 21 MAR 1762 in Cumberland Co, Virginia and my Daniel BOATRIGHT, RS b.c. 1740-1762 could have been brtohers and son's of Daniel and Jane above. My grandmother, Verna Rowena Boatright Milstead, died on July 2, 2002, in Sebastian County, Arkansas, at the age of 103. So far as I have been able to determine, she was the oldest living Boatright. Grandmother was born on April 26, 1899, in Crawford County, Arkansas. She was the eldest daughter of Franklin Bowden Boatright and Alta Crawford. She was a direct descendent of James Boatwright(born about 1745), Benoni Boatwright(called Benjamin), William Von Rennselear Boatright, Francis Alexander Boatright, and Franklin Bowden Boatright. Verna, called Mermer by family, was an amazing and much loved lady. She lived in her own home without assistance until she suffered a series of strokes at 101. She has been in a nursing home in Fort Smith, Arkansas, since that time. She is survived by her only daughter, Marilyn Milstead Rains; two grandchildren, David C. Rains of Conroe, Texas, and Dr. Rebecca Floyd of Fort Smith; and three great grandchildren, Carrie Rains Goudeau of Shreveport, Louisiana, Christi Anne Rains of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Rachel R. Floyd of Fort Smith. Grandmother was buried in Forest Park Cemetery, Fort Smith, on July 5, 2002, beside her husband, James G. Milstead. There is much I can tell you about this dear lady.
