    3. Morning all, Does anyone know for certain the REAL date he died or was born for that matter. DAR is not always the law. Emanuel estate records show his widow, Margaret, was appointed guardian of their two minor children, Charles and Nancy on 9/3/1812. DAR says 1818, another record shows 1821. Take your pick!!! I have run across some info that may be worth looking into. They had a son named Daniel, Jr. He had a son named Charles and maybe Nancy!!!!! Charles was born around 1792 in GA. and died in Barnwell, SC. aft 1830 & married Sarah Unknown b.c. 1790 in SC. and died aft. 1870 In Barnwell Co., SC. Notes for him below: 1810 Census: Name: Boatright, Charles Township: Barnwell County: Barnwell State: South Carolina Year: 1810 Roll: M252_60 Page: 173 Image: 93 1 male, 0 to 10, 1 male, 16 to 26, 1 female, 16 to 26 1820 Census: Name: Charly Boatright Township: Barnwell District County: Barnwell State: South Carolina Year: 1820 Roll: M33_119 Page: 3 Image Number: 7 1 male under 10, 1 male, 26 to 45, 4 females under 10, 1 female, 16 to 26 1830 Census: Name: Boatright, Charles Township: Not Stated County: Barnwell State: South Carolina Year: 1830 Roll: 169 Page: 123 1 male: 20 - 30, 1 male: 40 - 50, 3 females: 10 - 15, 2 females, 15 - 20, 1 female, 30 - 40. Charles and Sarah had three children and then grands. Have any of you seen this before or have any documentation for it. Hi Re Francis Tinsley Boatwright The info I have is that a Frances Elizabeth Tinsley was b 1764 or 1767 and was married in 1785 in Powhatan CO VA to John Joseph Boatwright b 1764 and died 1814 in Cumberland CO VA. John was the son of Daniel Boatwright b abt 1739 They had eight children the latest born Dec 1800. If this is your Frances Tinsley there is the possibility she remarried moved to KY and Had more children. Gerald M.     2. Hi Re Albert and Alice Boatright: The 1910 census for La Salle CO IL lists Albert O. Boatright as b 1867 in IL and wife Alice as b 1868 in IL with five children. There are no other Boatrights listed in LaSalle CO. but Saline CO shows a total of 72. Albert O. is the son of Herman or Harmon as shown in the 1880 census of Saline CO IL Albert and Alice are also show in the 1920 and 1930 census in Saline CO. Jerry . Gerald M.     3. Father may have been Prior J. Boatwright, born 10/05/1892 in Amherst, Virginia. Parents were John Joseph Boatwright and Frances Elizabeth Tinsley. Frances is believed to have died in Todd County, Kentucky, which gives you a possible link. David C.     3. Nancy---Daniel & Margaret Braswell were my 5g-grandparents. I do not have a Raleigh listed as their son. The children I have for them are Reuben, Permelia, Charles, Nancy, Betsy, Mary, John, Daniel Jr., and Sarah. Most of my info on the family came from other descendents with whom I have corresponded; I have never seen any mention of Raleigh.
