The objections I handle usually fall into one or more categories: 1. Surnames written incorrectly on the surname line, or surnames on the surname line, but not in the message. Posters sometimes forget and put all of the surnames they are researching on the surname line even when some of the surnames are for a different country, or different state/shire/burough. Some researchers screen surnames so it is important that surnames be appropriately noted. 2. And most common, a message posted to the wrong board. 3. Somewhat less frequent are messages that have nothing to do with research or even outright spam. We need therefore to keep the surnames and messages on the board appropriate for the board.
