Judy- The poster can't go back and change the option after a message is posted, but I believe STAFF can make a global change to stop sending ALL notices (not just a single one) if the poster who wishes to have all notices stopped would let either the HelpDesk or messageboards@rootsweb.com know. I believe this is a ONE TIME ONLY option and can't be reversed once the notices are stopped. Joan In a message dated 4/27/2009 9:09:59 A.M. You know how when you Post or Reply, that check box for notifications is by default checked ("yes") for "Notify me if anyone replies to this Thread" ? Well, sometimes people forget to uncheck it... Or, they don't want to hear anything more on the topic (like 6 months after they last replied).... So how do you STOP those THREAD update notifications? As an experiment, I left one checked... It is not under Board Favorites or Notifications to stop it, so where is it? Is there a place to "stop notifying me of thread replies" ? Or, even "Quit bothering me?" LOLOL Inquiring members (and this Admin) want to know! Judy
