Lauren- GenConnect was never a "project" -- that was the name of our old message boards before the boards were redesigned. RAOGK is a volunteer project that doesn't have any requirement for the person doing the deed other than the willingness of one person to do a good deed for another and hopefully have them do a good deed for someone else in return. Expert Connect as I understand it from the discussion on the APG list involves professional or experienced genealogists performing professional services for others.
