Kathie IS right about not contacting a spammer but our BOARD spammers are not your garden variety run of the mill mass spammers. I doubt that contacting a board spammer would cause you any problems and, in the unlikely situation where a person is merely oblivious that their mass posts ARE spam, it might do some good. At the very worst it will just fall on deaf ears. Joan In a message dated 11/5/2009 11:57:42 A.M. Doing so will only give them another confirmed address to send their stuff to and, well, will only add to the spam that is likely already coming into your spam filters or inbox. Since this is spam on the boards, the only real option to us is to report it via the "Report Abuse" links on the boards so RootsWeb can remove them and the board account it was posted from. :-( David E.
