    3. I'm sure it won't do any good, but I went to the website and used the contact form to tell them I would never purchase from them because of the board spamming. (doubt that I would have anyway, but they don't know that) Nan On Thu, Nov 5, 2009 at 8:58 AM, Diane K. 3. Now they can just spam you directly Nan. I would not contact a spammer or their company, On Thu, Nov 5, 2009 at 9:53 AM, Nan <nstarjak@gmail.com> wrote: > I'm sure it won't do any good, but I went to the website and used the > contact form to tell them I would never purchase from them because of the > board spamming. 3. Nan, Kathie is right, you should NEVER writer directly to a spammer and/or click on any links or attachments in spam. Doing so will only give them another confirmed address to send their stuff to and, well, will only add to the spam that is likely already coming into your spam filters or inbox. Since this is spam on the boards, the only real option to us is to report it via the "Report Abuse" links on the boards so RootsWeb can remove them and the board account it was posted from. :-( David E.
