    3. I agree, that as a USER with USER issues it is appropriate to contact Ancestry support regarding the service one is paying for. It is important to make the disctinction between our issues as a USER and as an ADMIN and to use the appropriate resources for each. It is regularly explained to USERS that this list is for peer to peer support of ADMINs. There is a different list/boad for Boards-Users. Just as there is for Lists Admins vs Boards Admins. The fact that someone has been responsive to a circumstance because it was brought to them or the venue does not mean that it becomes the appropriate place to have such things addressed. This is demonstrated on this list with frequence. It becomes difficult when one brings USER issues to ADMIN resources and when one brings ADMIN issues to USER resources. One should post to the appropriate resource given the circumstance and disentangle issues. Peers advise each other on this list. In searching the archives, there are only 22 incidents of posts from Elaine since 2002. You will find her posts by searching on elaine@rootsweb.com STAFF does not generally respond to messages on this list. Simply because we do not have a dictum posted to settle our "squabbles" does not mean that the rules have changed for admins. Take a look to the Rules & FAQs as posted at the Help Desk and at the bottom of each and every board page (changes for admins when logged in as Admin). If you can show me where it directs us or tells us it is a good idea for Admins to contact via telephone to Ancestry with our issues, I will be happy to eat my hat.
