You, as the admin can make the "call." Here's the "how to" response to your initial question. To move a post within a surname board -- it will take all replies with it, but not what is above it in the thread. type: surnames.surname replace surname with the actual name of the board. ie surnames.wombat and it will move to a thread of its own on the same board (wombat surname) If a post needs to be moved to a different surname board type: surnames.newsurname replace newsurname with the actual name of the board. ie surnames.feeblemeister and it will move to the other board and take all the replies to it along with it When an admin encounters a situation that there is not a surname board in existance to move the post to, then the "request a board" link can be accessed and in the comments box, one can put "to move a post to a more appropriate board." One is not required to administer the board one has requested.
