    1. Re: [BAd] Moving Board Posts
    2. Paul- I'm a bit confused here...someone filed an objection on your ROTH board asking you to move a post to the "Roth ADOPTION board?" There wouldn't be any such thing as a Roth surname adoption board--only one board per surname covering all aspects of that surname. If the post is otherwise appropriate for your board you can leave it there--with one caveat. There are some special rules in the RootsWeb AUP that apply to adoption messages--so you would want to make sure that your message falls within the adoption guideline. You DO have the option of moving adoption posts to the appropriate adoption board though if you prefer. The adoption boards are broken down by US State and by other criteria if a specific geographic area is not mentioned. Click the MOVE MESSAGE link and then navigate through the TOPIC boards to find the appropriate ADOPTION board and once the path to the board appears in the move message box -- click the button to send it on its way. However, before you move the message you should REJECT the objection--because otherwise it will move along with the message to the new location where you cannot delete it. Joan ------- OK....I "spoke too soon". I knew I shouldn't have said "As a Board Admin. of 8 years, I have received 0 Objections" (I may be paraphrasing)...just got my FIRST one a few minutes ago! {:-( I have to move a ROTH Query post to the ROTH Adoption Board... Would some kind soul please tell me where do I find the instructions for moving board posts? I saw the "move path" box...but what do I type in there?
