Perhaps flat view is the way to go for some, but that is just not the case for everyone. I use both views, as I bet many of us do. If I already know that a board is clean, especially if it's a small board, I usually view the board in thread view. As Dan stated, if previous posts in a thread are clean, there's no reason to open the entire thread. Lynne
