This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BF.2ADIAE/1191.1 Message Board Post: It is quite easy to change to admin tools. What I usually do is click on the link to see if I need to change anything or not. If I do, I simply go up to the URL and add "admin." right before /msg in the URL. Say the URL was your post, http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BF.2ADIAE/1191 I would make it into: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/admin.msg/rw/BF.2ADIAE/1191 Also, if you had posted from the Ancestry side, your URL would have a /an/ instead of /rw/ in it. Since I prefer editing (and reading) in the Rootsweb side, I would leave that part alone when changing the URL. However, if the person had posted from the Ancestry side, I would change /an/ to /rw/ for my own convenience. Alternatively, you can click the link, log in, and then click the Admin link rather than editing the URL. That will not change the /rw/ /an/ part, however. I find the Notifications perfectly useful. I always check for new posts, though, just in case a Notification went missing. I check both threaded and by date, so I don't miss anything. I hope this helps, Valorie
