> And, what if HIS one is smack in the middle of a 24-post thread?? Hi Judy, If I was doing the deleting, I'd move the posts below the one being removed to stand alone on the same board, and alter the subject line to indicate that it is a continuation of another thread. Then I'd delete the post, which would now be the last in that particular thread. Hope this helps. :-) Kind Regards, Wendy Howard -- Kaiwaka, Northland, New Zealand http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wendyh65/ <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ewendyh65/>
TODAY, case in point, something we have to deal with often. Today on one of my county boards, a segmented large post half about a surname born in Connecticut and the other half about the same surname born in Rhode Island. There is no indication in the post about any member of the family having been born in, or having lived in, this county. Clearly this post belongs on both the state boards mentioned, but not on this county board. So the question is, can a very good post (otherwise) be moved to two state boards? donkelly
