After each board name that we admin it has the number of objections in parentheses (so far mine all say zero). That is the way it was when I first became an admin, about 4 or 5 years ago. We no longer have to open a board just to see at a glance if we have any objections. Actually, I find this sort of useless in that it only takes ONE click to review ALL objections anyway--so there is little time saved or knowledge gained by seeing (0 objections) next to every board you admin. What would be REALLY REALLY helpful there in that space would be a link to NEW POSTS and information about how many there are next to each board--since your last admin visit. For instance: (2 new posts) and then a link there that takes you directly to a full-text view of those two new posts in admin mode to let you take any necessary action. Now a tools like THAT would save admins a tremendous amount of time--especially those having trouble navigating the new layout. Joan

And I see this as one of the few improvements they actually made. How many admins *never* clicked on their "Review Objections" link? I'm betting the majority. The disappearance of seeing the number of objections has been discussed several times over the years: only those people who admin fewer than 11 boards had that information. However, even this was another item that lost part of its usefulness: previously it was in bold text so it really caught your attention. Jackie -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
