A Read Only board is a board that no one can post to other than the admin or maybe staff. Often Read Only boards are ones that staff have closed for future posting and have maybe left old posts on the board to be viewed only but not replied to. I doubt that anyone requesting to become an admin of a closed/read only board would be approved as the admin. The board is closed. Joan
