Hi Joan: I would have thought that what you suggested was the reason, but such was not the case. Here is an example of the board post that first alerted me to the matter, on the London>London location board: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/message/an/localities.britisles.england.lnd.london/294 The recent 'reply' by Mary Wells (6 Oct 2006 12:52 PM ) indicates she received a notification about this thread, but I can't see her address posted anywhere within. Strange, eh? I've asked her to alert me of any further ones like these. I've received a note from an individual stating that she's received notifications to posts not associated with her email address. I've checked her address and noted that she has only ever posted with this particular email address twice at RW/Ancestry. Somehow she's getting Notification messages regarding posts she hasn't made. <snip> How should I direct her? Thanks Jill ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Jill- We'd need to see the notices to try to answer this question but don't forget that notifications are not only received when there is a direct reply to a query you posted but also when anyone posts in the future in a thread to which you ever posted in the past. This is quite likely what is happening here. Joan ------------------------------
