I think the splits are natural and are needed. Even though an Admin wondered if a German-speaking board was taking away from genealogy, I see it as a plus. If one does not know how to use (spell) English words, it is a disservice to them to be forced onto English boards. It would be the same if Ancestry only had Japanese-speaking boards now and said all USA posters HAD to use the Japanese-speaking Boards. I do wonder if English-speaking will be able to search the German-speaking boards and vice-versa? Not that I speak another lanuage, but others might find it useful?
