    3. Tilman, it is not an impossible thing to have a post removed from the list archives. But there has to be good reason and must be requested by the author of the message. And NO they can't request all their messages be removed from the archives. They must have a good reason, such as private banking info posted to a list [example] or personal information about the living...or SPAM that was posted. The admin CAN then request it but has to drop a note to staff to explain that this was SPAM that made it to the list archives.
