Marilyn- Yes--and I still would contact the poster if I feel it is warranted. However, in this case where the poster has not replied, I'd make the assuption that they DO want the posts deleted. Since the poster was concerned about identity and didn't just ask (giving no reason) that the posts be removed, I'd probably not have written to this particular poster to try to dissuade her because even if her reasoning is misguided--she did give a reason she wanted the posts removed and I'd assume she is not going to be swayed from that decision.
