Les, That may be, but at least it used to be the case that Ancestry and Rootsweb used the same cookie, so I couldn't be logged into one using one ID and the other using the other ID because they could only handle a single cookie. I can't tell you how many times I was in the process of doing an admin task, then tried to do a search but was unsucessful because Ancestry couldn't see the cookie for that username -- it only found the cookie for the non-paid username. Or how many times I was doing a search, then tried to do an admin task, only to be told I wasn't an admin on that board. That's why I switched everything to my paid ID.
