Joan, I also have a different Username for my paid subscription to ancestry, but it is tied in with the boards on the ancestry interface and lets you view or post messages. To set up a different username go to the rootsweb interface: https://myaccount.rootsweb.com/signin and click on the "Register" tab to register with a different Username, password etc. It's my understanding that ancestry wants us to have everything under one account, but I don't want everything under my paid subscription Username -- I have my reasons.
