A perfect example is the dna sites - I didn't feel it was my place to delete the messages with those links until it came from STAFF - and now they don't have to deal with messages like that on the boards I administer. =================== Do you mean that staff delets messages that include dna sites Kay
Kay: You will find that board messages that contain, for example, we use "www.ftdna.com" or visit our site at "www.ftdna.com/....." will be removed by STAFF as having a commercial link. However -- it is perfectly acceptable to state "we use the services Family Tree DNA for our (Name) DNA Project." This does not include a link to a commercial site. Also -- results of DNA tests are DATA and they are acceptable to be posted on the Boards. The only DNA posts that should be moved to the DNA Announce board would be those that actually *announce* a DNA Project. Updates, questions, results, mention re DNA Projects are not the topic of that board.
