When you start to type in the surname box, all the previous things you have typed come up so if you have typed it in before, you just choose from a drop down list instead of retyping every time. It also makes it easy to be sure you have the names in the same order each time. To my knowledge, RW & Ancestry doesn't have quick / smart / or fast fields for the surname box. Just regular old typing.
