This morning when I opened my AOL software and logged in, I kept getting a warning from my virus program that there was a trojan file named JS:ScriptIP-inf This happened even when I tried to open email or go to any AOL link. The same thing happened when I tried to access AOL through my Internet Explorer connection. I tried to call AOL tech support but they were so swamped with calls I couldn't get through. After about 30 minutes I tried to log on to AOL through their software and my IE connection again, and I didn't get any more warnings. Did anyone else have this problem? Now, however, when I try to log into my boards through rootsweb.com it won't recognize my Username & password. Help anyone? Thanks, Marilyn
Marilyn, If you are using AOL version 9.6 along with AVAST, that may be the source of your problem. Apparently there is an update to AVAST which may help if you are using both of these items. -- Mary loumking@aol.com wrote: > This morning when I opened my AOL software and logged in, I kept getting a > warning from my virus program that there was a trojan file named > JS:ScriptIP-inf > > This happened even when I tried to open email or go to any AOL link.
