    3. Sounds to me like you have an infected computer. AOL virus scans are also completely useless and behind the times. You need to get a virus scan done and get updated virus definitions first. I have AOL but I don't use their virus protection because there are better antivirus programs than what they use. Please respond only on the list as it is in plain text and I don't want a message privately if your computer IS infected. I use NOD32 Antivirus. You can get a free 30 day trial version here: http://www.computech4u.net/members_area/trial_version.php On Sun, Dec 27, 2009 at 12:30 PM, <loumking@aol.com> wrote: > This morning when I opened my AOL software and logged in, I kept getting a > warning from my virus program that there was a trojan file named > JS:ScriptIP-inf > > This happened even when I tried to open email or go to any AOL link.   The > same thing happened when I tried to access AOL through my Internet Explorer > connection.  I tried to call AOL tech support but they were so swamped with >  calls I couldn't get through.  After about 30 minutes I tried to log on to >  AOL through their software and my IE connection again, and I didn't get > any  more warnings. > > Did anyone else have this problem?   Now, however, when I try to  log into > my boards through > rootsweb.com   it won't recognize my Username &  password. > > Help anyone? > > Thanks,  Marilyn > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to BOARDS-ADMINS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- -- Take care, ~Kathie Harrison Ancestral Whispers http://whispers.ancestralwhispers.com/
