    1. Re: [BAd] How to remove this thread? (was Author's deletion request)
    2. Tilman- It looks as if only you and I mentioned the poster by by name that was on the View Posts list in this thread. So you and I can remove those posts from the thread. Here's what you need to do... Start by finding the two posts in the list archives here: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/index/BOARDS-ADMINS/2009-03 -- copy the URLs where you find the two messages that include the poster's name and then paste them one at a time here and click submit after each one is entered: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/remove This will trigger an email to the posters (you and me) and we each can then click the link in the confirmation email to complete the removal process. Since I didn't hear back from staff, I deleted most of it myself and left back a single legit message. Now I've got a new problem.: Unfortunately did the author's name sneak into our conversation here (which I wanted to avoid myself). The author out of personal reasons is more than unhappy about this. Is there a way to have that thread removed from the list - or rather the related archives ? If yes, how would I proceed? Thanks Tilman
