Judy- Are you actually seeing a certificate notice on MyAccount that says the certificate has expired? I don't--but if I force the "rootsweb.ancestry.com" URL rather than the correct rootsweb.com URL when accessing MyAccount I Do get a certificate notice that says the certificate is current and valid but the domain name doesn't match--which would be accurate. The Cert is renewable, I believe, yearly. Browsers know to check for the Cert when you access a Site. The popup notice is to basically tell you "This company has not re-certified; they had certified before; proceed at your own risk." Most times, legit companies are just late re-certifying. Judy
No, I don't get any notice. I was only explaining what a Security Certificate is and what a notice of expiration means..
