Hi, I have dial up too.. yes it is slow but you may have other problems too... if you are saving items to your computer instead of a CD/floppy/Iomega zip drive... or something, it can slow the computer down too.. which really causes problems.. How much memory do you have open on your computer? But rootsweb can't do a thing to help you... So what is it you want? or need? When I get online it takes over a minute to bring up Rootsweb, it takes more time to bring up the boards and my problem lists. That we have the problems with rootsweb does not help. It only increases problems. I've been banned from the LO list because I've complained, more likely will be banned from this list. When a person has slow speed dial up we can't deal with the problems as you all do, it takes time, often hours. I'm sorry, all I can do to deal with keeping up with my lists is to sell my house and move someplace else, within a fast modem range.
