Joan I had already reported this to helpdesk who put me onto boards-admins. The clever bit is that the two lists from boards today are not adminned, I know I am waiting to become an admin for them. To understand you correctly, until september or whenever, board posters who want their messages passed on the gateway will have to subscribe to lists before they send their message. This is not well advertised. List subscription is not mandatory. If you post to the board and do not belong to the list your message board post goes to a pending file for the admin to approve it to be pass on to the list. From my experiences with postings to boards, admins are for the most approving message board posts. However, if you belong to the mailing list your message will go directly to the list without admin intervention because your mailing address is on the list of subscribed list members. I just thought of something -- It never occurred to me to check on those reject emails that I received to see if it came from a list with no admin. Does anyone know what happens to pending message board posts that are sent to lists that do not have an admin?
