I went to the usual rootsweb sign-in page today to admin my boards: https://myaccount.rootsweb.com/signin and instead of getting the sign in page, I got the rootsweb home page at: https://myaccount.rootsweb.ancestry.com/signin When I clicked on the Sign In link in the upper right hand corner, I was taken to the rootsweb homepage again. I clicked on the "Sign In" link again and still got the rootsweb home page. So how and where do I sign in now that rootsweb has been moved to ancestry?? I think they are making some of the changes that were announced last week. I've just gone to the Rootsweb home page (www.rootsweb.com, though I can't tell you now if that's the URL for the page that came up), found I wasn't logged in (which I normally am), and on clicking on "sign in" found myself logged in with no further action required from me. I was now at http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ Clicking on "My Account" still took me to https://myaccount.rootsweb.com/ where all my usual details were listed. A little patience is probably needed while these changes are going on. If something doesn't work at this moment, try coming back in a while and see if it works then. If it still doesn't work after a day, I'd think about reporting the problem to the Help Desk.
