Marilyn- I don't see anything wrong with it either as long as the posts are customized for each board and are relevant to the board where posted...what was the reason the person was objecting? It's a judgment call as to whether the post is genealogical in nature but the info COULD prove helpful to genealogists--so I'd leave it unless the poster requests its removal--which I don't think is the case here. Just because Susie Board Police files an objection on your board doesn't mean that Susie is right...if she is, then take whatever action is indicated...but you are perfectly within your rights as admin where a judgment call is in order to overrule Susie and discard her objection. Usually when I do this I contact the objector privately (their email address is on the objection) to let them my reason for disagreeing and not accepting their objection. I had an objection not long ago where the objector felt a post would be "better suited" to another board and objected asking me to most the post--possibly it WOULD have been better suited to the other boards...but the post WAS relevant to the board it was on and the poster had made the decision to post it THERE and not the other board--and that IS the poster's option as I explained to the objector. To me, this was a frivolous objection and not worthy of my time or attention. Joan ------------ I don't see anything wrong with the post, in fact I found it quite interesting.
