    2. Cutshall
    3. Did they ever make the posters emails available to the admin. of the boards ? I'd like to contact a person to let them know they should only be putting the surnames that are in the message in the surname box ...however they do not have their email listed and I do not have a subscription to Ancestry ... Guess I could just put a blurb on the message board to please put ONLY the surnames that are in the message in the surname box ??? suggestions please :) Kay Cutshall

    3. Hi Kay You wrote: >Did they ever make the posters emails available to the admin. of the boards ? While logged on as administrator on the Ancestry side, open the post and click on the author ID. You'll either get a message saying "This person does not have a public profile because they posted before registration was required," often with their e-mail address displayed, or you'll be taken to an anonymous contact page where you can complete an e-mail form. See "Extra! Extra! New Admin Function" on the Administrator News board at <http://boards.ancestry.com/adminnews/12/mb.ashx> for the full story. Occasionally I post an admin message on a board. I seriously doubt anyone reads them, but it makes me feel better. I only leave the post for a few days and then delete it. Lynne
