Tilman- Yes, I believe we both heard from the same person. I'd say like the RWR problem in the past this is a Eudora issue. I believe that problem was resolved when the newsletter was switched to a third party for distribution. Of course, Sharon is free to present the problem to the HelpDesk for them to discuss it with the board developers, but the addresses you listed are not the place she should contact. Tell her to click the HELP link on any RootsWeb page and select the EMAIL ROOTSWEB SUPPORT tab to notify the HelpDesk. Joan ------------------------------------ Joan, the person who wrote to me is one Sharon - FWIW She sent me a link she had found in her alerts - like this http://boards.ancestry.com/localities.ceeurope.histreg.bohemia/9049.4 = /mb.ashx?r=3Dan >From my quick research on the web I found that this CAN happen during transmission and thru the way a specific email client works. Her client is Eudora. This very board is on my alerts too, and I don't see broken links. She also wrote: > I sent the message below to "Message Boards" <[email protected] and > [email protected] but in both cases, it bounced. Are these valid addresses for questions about this issue? They *might* be able to do something, since Sharon claims they did so in the past with RootsWebReview and a similar problem there. Thanks Tilman **************Create a Home Theater Like the Pros.
