Hello Folks, I've been doing some cleaning on many of my boards this week and every time I move a message I go to that board to see if the message "got there". While I'm there, I click on the "Board Information" page to see who admins. the board and I'm also always on the lookout for new ideas to spruce up my own Board Information pages. Some of you have done an excellent job with attractive backgrounds, graphics, information, etc. !! BUT, unfortunately I've come across some pages that need to be updated. Some pages refer to switching from the old GenConnect boards to the "new" board system, (which, I think, is actually referring to the old system that we just left in Dec. 2006). I found URL's that no longer worked, some pages had the text drop off at the bottom of the page and were incomplete (like the text didn't completely transfer from the "Edit" page to the "Info" page), and one had rules for posting that were not in keeping with rootsweb's policies. One board admin. said posts would be deleted if they weren't classified correctly. I don't think we have the right to delete posts for that reason, do we? So......I'd just like to suggest that we all take a look at our Board Info pages to see if any changes, fixes or updates need to be made.
