Hi, I don't know what is happening, but I reviewed a message posted to Fairfield County, CT which purportedly links to "Smiths of Fairfield Co. CT and New York" http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.connecticut.counties. fairfield/3992.3/mb.ashx The entire message refers to a HORTON and CHEEK family of supposed Cherokee descent. No mention of SMITH or Fairfield Co., CT. It's a broad net being cast, and based on her comment about HORTON, I suspect she came into the board through a global search for HORTON. The problem is, when I tried to move the message to the HORTON or CHEEK Surname Board, the "move utility" does not work. All I can get is the single word: "surname," in the open box. Repeatedly clicking "Surnames" results in an error message. Is this a known bug right now, with all the moves taking place with Rootsweb? Thanks for any advice or suggestions on how to move this message Maureen Mead USGenWeb Project ASC: rootsweb.com/~ctgenweb USGenWeb Project CC Fairfield County, CT: rootsweb.com/~ctfairfi Rootsweb Message Board Admin, Fairfield Co.
