Actually, the objections I received said that these messages were off-topic because they're architectural, not genealogy, and that he had posted a number of other similar messages on other boards. All of which is, technically, true. But he does tailor the message to the county board, and it's true that genealogy researchers may know about and/or be interested in those schools. A quick look at his website doesn't reveal any commercial motive. The "worst" possible interpretation I can come up with is that he's making his master's thesis a group project. But if that's OK with his faculty advisor . . . I guess now we're up to 4 cents worth, Tilman. :-) Nan ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tilman Brandl" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, March 07, 2008 9:00 AM Subject: Re: [BAd] Something Wrong with this Post? > Marilyn, > > I understand that the ocjection didn't give a reason ... ? > > The only thing that comes to my mind is a question: Is this post > genealogical by nature, or not? > > There's probably nothing wrong with these messages, only that they > could've > come from a realtor. > > Just my 2 ct worth ... > > Tilman >
