Lauren- Yeah...I understand what he says about the gateway being moderated--my comment applied to reviewing all new subs to lists and how he'd know the same board "spammers" were trying to sub to the list. Moderating new subs would be a rare and usually temporary situations for most lists -- but my question is how doing this would find the email addresses of board spammer--I mean how would you identify them as such if you don't know their email addresses only their usernames? I am unsure what Don meant, but perhaps it is that he has the gateway on moderate so all posts from the gateway must be manually reviewed and released.
