Joan: Some of us have historic problem children for some of our lists.... and *are* to approve membership for those lists. Keeps from subjecting people to flame wars, etc. However, agreed -- not all lists are supposed to be subscription by approval only. I am unsure what Don meant, but perhaps it is that he has the gateway on moderate so all posts from the gateway must be manually reviewed and released. NO list is to be on permanent moderate -- that is my understanding --- even for those with problem children. Cheers, Lauren
