Lynne- That is exactly what I started doing last night and moved about 200 or so successfully but not all would move on the first try and when I went back to the alternate window and rejected the objection and then tried going back to the other window with the post/thread still to be moved--often they just "disappeared" and I couldn't find them again after that. In this unusual situation, it might be better if staff just waited a couple weeks and we admins just ignored those straggler locked objections from moved posts -- and staff later cleaned out the queue in one fell swoop. Staff is looking into the matter and considering the best way to deal with this. After all, even if EVERY single admin who reads this board removes (rejects) the objection first and moves their unmovable posts -- there are many more admins out there who won't even know to do this because they don't read this list. So, no matter what we do--there is going to be a cleanup operation for staff after we get these old posts moved. It isn't real obvious to admins who don't read this list that the objections don't get rejected/removed when they click to reject them AFTER a post is moved--it all LOOKS like it is working but it isn't because the objection has already moved along with the post. The only way we can delete them AFTER the move is if they are being moved to another board we also admin--and I've had a few of those too--I reject them and then the reloaded page showed them back again--but in the new location. If anyone is like me and worried that a post won't move, open the objection in one window and open the message in another. Do the transfer and then, if it's successful, go back to the first window and reject the objection. Only takes a second. Lynne
