Hi, You can always reply to the poster on a board by going to the board and clicking on the person's name and copying the email address then initating an email to them.. A lot of work for a person with a lot of boards.. There should be a better way to do it... Oh and you better get that address before you move it... LIST posters won't see it and can't reply privately to the poster unless, of course, they click the link and obtain the email address from the board. I figure that most list posters, if they bother to click the link to the post on the board are then just going to reply (as they should) on the board and not go through the process of getting the email address of the board to write to the boart poster. Jill-- Admins are not *required* to add surnames to the surname box. We are charged with "maintaining the integrity" of the boards. Remove extraneous entries so the search engines work as intended. Board users need to be educated how to get the best use out of the board --- inlcuding proper use of the surnames box. It will be interesting to see what the new software will bring. Cheers, Lauren

The problem of list users not answering gatewayed posts on the board is HUGE. I've done everything within my power on the list end to educate list users as to proper procedures. How about just trash the whole system - they are doing a fine job of beginning it. I wont like the gate ways open any more then - Also will make up a list of boards to let go of.
